Muhammad Yuslan is an accomplished hospitality executive with extensive experience in managing luxury hotels and service apartments across Southeast Asia. Currently serving as the General Manager of Hotel Tentrem Jakarta, a 5-star independent luxury property, he led the successful opening of the hotel in 2024, ensuring operational excellence and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with the strategic leadership team. He has been instrumental in developing unique guest experiences, emphasizing Indonesian hospitality, and enhancing operations across multiple outlets.
Prior to this, Alan served as the General Manager of The Mayflower Jakarta, Marriott Executive Apartments, where he oversaw the management of 96 luxury apartments and fostered strong relationships with corporate clients and tenants. His leadership contributed to the apartment's market dominance, ensuring optimal performance through strategic planning and revenue management.
His previous roles include General Manager at Rooms Inc Hotels in Semarang, where he introduced a millennial-focused lifestyle business hotel, and at Cachet Resort Dewa Phuket, where he successfully managed the rebranding of the resort into an international lifestyle brand. Alan also played a pivotal role in pre-opening and opening the Melia Makassar and Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran, driving business performance and achieving market recognition.
With a career spanning over 20 years, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to lead teams, optimize operational efficiency, and deliver outstanding guest experiences across various hospitality sectors, including resorts, hotels, and service apartments.

Backed up by 20 years of hospitality experience, he leads the team in balancing the market mix and ensuring that each property’s Total REVPAR is optimized to its fullest potential.

Xavier has spent most of his career with ACCOR, holding different roles on 3 different continents. He has extensive experience in hotel openings, having opened more than 70 properties under his direct supervision in busy cities like Paris, Brussels, Bangkok, Singapore, and Jakarta, where he developed an extensive knowledge of Global Distribution and Revenue Management.
His last position, prior to joining NOVA Asset Management, was COO at TAUZIA Hotel Management, where he gained a comprehensive understanding of Indonesia's complex market.
Expert in all hotel operation modes (management, franchise, lease) he has an extensive knowledge of large organizations as well as smaller local operators.
Xavier opened NOVA Asset Management’s Jakarta office in 2019, as managing director and partner.
NOVA Asset Management provides a full range of hospitality services to hotel owners and investors, i.e., Feasibility Studies, Operator Selection, Branding & Product Positioning, Project Development Management, Owners’ Representation, etc.

Cyrill Czerwonka has a noteworthy career, comprising of close to 20-years in the global hotel investment and development sectors. As Managing Director of Development, APAC with BWH Hotels, he currently oversees the company’s expansion strategy in 15 countries.
BWH Hotels is a leading, global hospitality network with over 75 years of experience, comprising of three hotel companies: WorldHotels®, Best Western® Hotels & Resorts and SureStay Hotels®. The global network has 4,300 hotels in over 100 countries worldwide across 18 brands.
Under Cyrill’s leadership, the group experienced a period of historical growth across the region via franchise, marketing affiliation and management agreements.
His career spans across diverse international locations from Bangkok to Dubai, New Delhi and Paris and includes spells with international hotel chains such as AccorHotels, The Ascott Limited and Dusit International, in addition to property owners across Asia and EMEA.
A French national with Thai family heritage, Cyrill obtained his Master’s Degree in Business & Finance from one of France’s top business schools and also holds a certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments & Asset Management from Cornell University.

Graduated from International Hotel Management Institute in Lucerne, Switzerland and holding a Master degree from International Hotel Management in Guilford, Surrey, UK, Jonathan Mokalu paved his way up through Operations at Menara Peninsula Hotel, Jakarta in 1998, from Guest Service Agent, Banquet Sales Manager to Assistant Director to Sales & Marketing and promoted as Director of Sales & Marketing in January 2008. His passion in hotel operations challenged him to take up an assignment as Resident Manager at Sintesa Peninsula Menado in 2010. He got promoted as General Manager in 2012 with additional tasks in supervising other properties in Sumatera and Sulawesi. He then returned to Jakarta where the Corporate Office assigned him as Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing in 2015. ARTOTEL Group had its eyes set on Jonathan's achievements. In October 2017 he was recruited as the Director of Operations in charge of overseeing operational aspects of ARTOTEL properties. His expertise in hotel operations gave first-hand approaches in ensuring all properties in line with the brand standard. Jonathan’s current position as Director of Business Development puts him in the fore front of the company growth and development

With over 25 years of hands-on experience in both sustainability and industry, Eric is a frequent speaker, convener, and researcher. His notable industry work includes working as a technical consultant for the Hotel Carbon Measurement Initiative and launching initiatives including the Cornell Hotel Sustainability Benchmarking Index, Green Lodging Trends Report, Destination Water Risk Index, Hotel Owners for Tomorrow Coalition, Global Hotel Decarbonisation Report and Hotel Net Zero Methodology. Prior to founding Greenview, Eric specialized in the operations and development of nature-based lodges, theme parks and attractions in Costa Rica, Mexico, and Brazil. Eric is a member of the International Standards Committee of the GSTC and the Board of Advisors of the Phuket Hotels Association. Eric earned a Bachelor of Science from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and a Master of Science in Tourism & Travel Management from New York University.

Chiara Calufetti-Lim is a licensed architect with extensive international experience, she is a versatile and global player in the world of design and architecture. She has 2 master’s degree from IUAV in Italy and has worked in Europe, USA, the Middle East and Asia.
She has been involved in sustainability since 2006 when she became a LEED AP and later added the BD+C accreditation, spearheading sustainability focused initiatives within WATG. To further her commitment as a sustainability advocate, Chiara also completed a course in Business Sustainability Management offered by the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
Chiara has designed and led many projects with different areas of focus including high-end retail, residential and hospitality, from concept design to construction. She also has a wealth of expertise in historic renovation, interior remodeling and urban planning. Whilst leveraging her extensive experience, Chiara stays abreast with new trends and technologies, taking every opportunity to explore and adopt innovation with her team and pushing boundaries of possibilities to stay ahead of the curve which most recently includes experimenting the use of AI.
At WATG, Chiara has worked on several high-profile projects including Rissai Valley, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Jiuzhaigou and the Sofitel Nusa Dua Beach Resort. More recently, she has worked on the design of exciting projects in Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, India, the Middle East and the Maldives, collaborating with some of the world’s most illustrious clients.
